The Jefferson Business Council (JBC) is excited to welcome Mark Rosa as our 2025 Chairman. Mark officially stepped into the role in January 2025, bringing with him decades of leadership experience and a deep commitment to strengthening Jefferson Parish’s business community.
JBC Executive Director Larry Dale shared his congratulations to Mark and the 2025 officers, while also thanking our 2024 board for their service over the past year. “The JBC continues to make great strides for Jefferson Parish—supporting pro-business legislation and working closely with parish government to ensure economic growth. We look forward to building on that momentum with Mark Rosa’s leadership,” Dale said.
Mark Rosa: A Leader with Deep Roots in Finance and Education
Mark was born and raised in New Orleans and has dedicated more than 40 years to the credit union industry. Most recently, he served as CEO of Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union, and today he is the VP of Economics for Keesler Federal Credit Union.
His passion for education runs just as deep—since 1987, Mark has taught Economics and Finance at both Tulane University and the University of New Orleans. His expertise and mentorship have helped shape the next generation of business leaders.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master’s in Economics from the University of New Orleans. He and his wife, Gina, currently live in Covington.
